On 21 February 2026, Nigerian contemporary visual artist and singer-songwriter Samuela Ogbemudia, professionally known as Psalmuela, presented her first solo exhibition, What Our Fathers Knew, at the British Council in Lagos.

Psalmuela (Samuela Obemudia) continues to gain international recognition through a growing body of work that explores African heritage, faith, identity, and humanity. Her solo exhibition themed; What Our Fathers Knew has paintings that combined expressive contemporary techniques with rich cultural narratives, inviting viewers into conversations that bridge ancestral wisdom and modern life.
